Trail farmers market heads into final stretch of outdoor season

Fall flavours, local creations and live music will fill the Esplanade Saturday as the Trails Incredible Farmers Market heads into the final stretch of its outdoor season.
The market returns Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with just three outdoor markets remaining this season.
Local vendors will be offering farm-fresh food, baked goods and other treats, along with handmade creations from area artisans and makers.
Adding to the fall market atmosphere will be live music from Arbutus Holiday, a band making its first appearance at the Trail market.
“Our amazing local vendors will be bringing their best to the community, with farm-fresh food, delicious treats, and handmade creations,” organizers said in a social media post.
“Plus, enjoy live music by Arbutus Holiday — a new band to the Trail Market!”
Saturday’s market comes as the Trails Incredible Farmers Market winds down its 10th anniversary outdoor season.
The market marked the milestone in May with a special celebration recognizing a decade of bringing local farmers, food producers, artisans and shoppers together in downtown Trail.
“Only 3 outdoor markets left this season,” organizers said. “Come shop local, discover something special, and enjoy a wonderful fall market day with us.”
The Trails Incredible Farmers Market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, along Esplanade Avenue in downtown Trail.
