First Gospel Music Night of the season coming up at Ponoka Drop-in Centre

Gospel Music Nights are starting up again at the Ponoka Drop-in Centre (5015 – 46th Ave.) for the season, with the first show taking the stage on Sept. 18.
Starting at 7 p.m., the four person group known as “Sound Alliance” will serenade the crowd with a mix of hymns, gospel songs and inspirational favourites.
The drop-in centre has been holding Gospel Music Nights for over 20 years.
According to organizers Al and Lil Muir, attendance of these events dropped somewhat in recent years, partly due to COVID, but they’re hoping for at least 60 people to come out to the first concert night.
The monthly event will run through to June, 2027.
The cost is $5 at the door.
Everyone is welcome. Those aged 15 and under are free of charge.
Refreshments will be served during the intermission.
