BC NDP leader David Eby says small businesses hit by U.S. tariffs will be eligible for interest-free loans to help them get through Trump’s trade war with Canada.

Eby is in Surrey Wednesday morning (Oct. 7) as leaders continue their provincial tours in advance of the Oct. 24 B.C. election.

Eby also announced that the BC NDP will also introduce a new tax credit for businesses that provide a young person with their first job, as well as expanding support for those businesses that want to export to markets outside the United States.

Eby is making the announcement at the Buy N Save South Indian Grocery Store in Newton.
