Booking connection flights from Penticton and through Vancouver is set to get easier.
A new partnership between Air Canada and Pacific Coastal Airlines will give travellers more options when booking connections through B.C.’s largest city, the Penticton Regional Airport has announced.
Vancouver is currently the only Pacific Coastal Airlines destination offered to travellers at Penticton’s airport.
Journeys can now be booked on a single ticket, combining Pacific Coastal flights with connecting Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Express services, according to the local airport.
In a social media post, the airport said the partnership is “great news” for Penticton travellers.
“The agreement allows passengers to check in for their entire itinerary at the start of their journey and receive boarding passes for all connecting flights,” it said in a release.
Pacific Coastal and WestJet are currently the only two airlines to use Penticton Regional Airport. WestJet offers flights to and from Calgary.
