Sometimes it’s the little things that go a long way.
That was the case for some members of the West Kelowna Fire Department this week as several firefighters helped a woman and her dogs get home after her scooter left her stranded on the side of the road.
West Kelowna Professional Firefighters posted the incident on social media Wednesday, Sept. 30, including photos and a video of the firefighters helping the woman down the road.
While the woman was pushed home, her two dogs can be seen in one of the photos sitting in the back of a vehicle with a firefighter.
“Some days it’s the non-emergency calls that make a difference. Crews were able to assist a woman and her dogs back home after her scooter lost power. (Station) 4457 is proud to serve the citizens of West Kelowna,” reads the post.
