The annual awards recognize large, small and new businesses, in addition to a non-profit organization. The Business Leader of the Year, and the Emerging Business Person of the Year will also be revealed, along with the Innovation Award recipient.

Three finalists for each of the seven awards, chosen from about 92 nominees, have already been revealed. A judging committee narrowed down the nominees to 21 finalists using a detailed questionnaire and scoring tabulation.
